How to order a pet portrait

1) Print and fill out order form

2) With your order form send me several close-up photographs of your pet to work from. Please indicate the photograph that best shows your pet’s personality. I need a good, clear photo of your pet’s face, eyes and expression, since that’s what I will be concentrating on. It is helpful to have an additional 2-3 reference photos for fur color and patterns. Any information you can give to me will help me create the best portrait

3) Include down payment. I will need half of the payment when your portrait is ordered. I can email you a digital photo of your pet’s portrait when it is completed. After your review and approval send me the balance of the payment and your portrait will be shipped to you.

4) Delivery time will be approximately 4-8 weeks. Please order early for holidays since it is a very busy time of year.

Prices

	Remember that size refers to the size of the paper or illustration board.
	The portrait size will depend on the size of the animal and the number of animals in the portrait. For an additional animal please add 50% of the portrait price.
	The frame size may be different with matting.

Photo tips:

	A good, clear photo will provide me with a great place to begin your pet portrait.
	Try to be at eye level with close-ups of faces, clear eyes and expressions that show the personality of your pet, since that’s what I will concentrate on. I may combine several photos to work from the best angle.
	The best photographs are usually in natural light without a flash and not in direct sunlight, which can wash out colors.
	Let me know which photograph best captures the personality of your pet.
	All photographs will be returned with your finished artwork.
